At the time of the accident, there were 10 road construction workers resting inside the house. Four of them received burns of varying severity as they tried to escape the fire. The injured were hospitalized in Jalilabad central district hospital.
The Jalilabad district fire protection unit under the Ministry of Emergency Situations sent three fire fighter vehicles and manpower to the site. The firefighters managed to protect parts of the house, which consists of three rooms and two balconies. The rest of the house, along with all the objects inside, burned to ashes.
According to the initial opinion, the fire was caused by short circuit in one of the household devices. An investigation is underway to find out details of the accident.
