Azer Ibrahimov said Azerbaijani citizen Hajiyev Zahid Gadir oglu (1970) have had a deal with a group of juveniles Ganja city residents – Mammadov Ziyadkhan Saleh oglu (2004), Mammadov Asif Rajab oglu (2003), and Aliyev Yagub Elshan oglu (2003) – about taking them to Turkey through the Shikhly border checkpoint on his truck. In accordance with the deal, he has helped them illegally cross the state border in the Georgia direction.
Hajiyev has had a plan to deceitfully take the juveniles to Turkey and have them involved in human trafficking there. He has also obtained their consent about meeting with them in a certain place in Georgia after illegally crossing the border.
The SBS has managed to detain Zahid Hajiyev and the juveniles.
Necessary investigative actions are continuing.
