Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the President of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria has addressed a letter of congratulations to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of Independence Day, APA reports.

As the Republic of Azerbaijan celebrates the anniversary of its National Day, I am pleased to extend to you my warmest congratulations on behalf of the Algerian people, its government, and myself. I pray to the Almighty to bless you with continued good health and well-being, and to grant further advancement and progress to the friendly Azerbaijani people.
I seize this pleasant opportunity to express my satisfaction with the growing dynamism of the relations of brotherhood and cooperation that unite our two countries. I reaffirm my commitment to working jointly to further strengthen these ties to serve our friendly peoples.
