A ban on signing an agreement with foreign donors without the right to provide grants in advance was lifted.
The Cabinet of Ministers has made amendments to the regulations on obtaining the grant right by foreign donors in the territory of Azerbaijan, APA reports.
The rules regulate the procedure for obtaining the right to grant by international organizations and their representative offices, foreign governments and their offices, charitable, humanitarian and other public international organizations, financial and credit institutions, foreign non-governmental organizations operating in the fields of education, science, health, the arts and sports, including foundations, associations, federations and committees, as well as branches and representative offices of foreign legal entities passed state registration in Azerbaijan
According to the amendment the ban to have an agreement with foreign donors not having the right to grant from the Ministry of Finance was lifted.
The amendment considers carrying out in parallel the financial and economic expediency opinion of the Ministry of Finance and the registration of the grant agreement.
In parallel with the change of the procedure and the duration to get the right for granting by foreign donors was reduced.
