"Significant global events held in Baku show Azerbaijan attaches great importance to climate change and problems concerning the whole world," Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Kubanychbek Omuraliev told APA.
"One of themes of the Forum is intercultural dialogue. I want to note that dialogue is very important in the current situation," added Secretary-General.
He has also touched upon the issue of COP29:
"COP29 is also a forum focused on climate change. Participating countries will present their strategies for combating climate change here. I believe that this event will become a useful and important platform in many respects."
