During January-April of 2024, the volume of cargo transported in the transport corridors passing through the territory of Azerbaijan amounted to 10,723.6 thousand tons, APA-Economics reports citing State Statistics Committee.
According to the information, 4,848.8 thousand tons or 45.2% of the cargo was transported by rail, 3,383.7 thousand tons or 31.6% was transported by road, 2,491.1 thousand tons or 23.2 % was transported by sea transport.
"59.7% or 6,403,700 tons of cargo transported through the corridors were made up of transit cargo," the information states.
