“The future situation in relations with Russia in the field of security and military cooperation depends on Moscow's position,” said Armen Grigoryan, Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia to journalists, APA reports citing Sputnik Armenia.
He stated that Russia's share in the supply structure of arms and military equipment to Armenia has dropped from 96% to 10%. According to the secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, this happened by Russia’s decision: “It exactly was Russia that decided not to supply arms and ammunition, they still have not fully delivered what was stipulated in the contracts. They are complaining that Armenia buys weapons from other states, but they do not continue deliveries under contracts for 2021-2022,” – Grigoryan said.
The Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia added that Russia showed the military operations in Ukraine as the reason for this.
