The Ministry of National Security of Kyrgyzstan handed over 5 members of organized criminal groups to Azerbaijan, APA reports citing Kyrgyz media.
They were handed over to official representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan at Manas International Airport.
Recall that on March 20, five Azerbaijani citizens went to Kyrgyzstan to commit a contract crime. According to information disseminated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan on March 26, a press release from law enforcement agencies of the Kyrgyz Republic dated March 23, 2024, reported the detention of 5 Azerbaijanis as suspects on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Azerbaijan Republic, acting in cooperation with the relevant law enforcement agencies of the Kyrgyz Republic, provided the Kyrgyz side with the collected information about these individuals.
Noted that as a result of the investigation, it was established that one of the detainees as a suspect had previously been convicted of committing a crime on the territory of the Russian Federation, and the other - in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
