Baku-APA. The United States considers transfer of Arif Yunus from prison to house arrest as a positive step, APA reports quoting the US Department of State.
“The United States views today’s decision by the Baku Court of Appeals to transfer Arif Yunus from prison to house arrest on humanitarian grounds as a positive step,” reads press statement of the US Department of State
Baku Court of Appeal considered the appeal of Arif Yunus and passed a decision on commuting the pre-trial detention to house arrest. After this, Yunus was released under house arrest.
