Barack Obama wins the second debate

Washingtonâ€“APA. US presidential candidates Barack Obama and John McCain fielded questions of the voters at the second debate, which took place at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. More than 6 million voters e-mailed their questions to the candidates during 90-minute discussions. Touching upon the Russian topic John McCain said Moscow behaved aggressively toward Georgia and now diected its looks toward Ukraine. Senator Obama also said Russia would be one of the challenges facing the next US president. He said Iran must not be allowed to have nuclear weapon. The candidate said military solution was always available for the United States, but it needed to use other methods, including economic and trade sanctions. McCain focus on defending Israel. â€œWe can not allow the second Holocaustâ€, said McCain.
Obama said it was wrong decision to invade Iraq and he emphasized that Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden was at large yet. McCain charged that Obama doesnâ€™t have the ability and thoughts of the Supreme commander.
Both candidates named billionaire Warren Buffet as a main nominee for the Secretary of Treasure.
CNN conducted opinion poll after the debate. 54 % of the respondents said Barack Obama won the debates and 30 % called John McCian as a winner. The democrat candidate defeated his rival at the first debate too. The last debate will take place on October 15 at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York.
