Washington–APA. The New York Post announced it would support Republican candidate John McCain in the presidential elections. The newspaper commented its choice in the large editorial, APA reports. The New York Post editors said McCain’s achievements before the US citizens were incomparable with the Barack Obama’s “thin biography like napkinâ€. They said there were 4 reasons to vote for McCain: national security, tax, trade and energy. The journalists positively appreciated the Alaska Governor Sarah Pelin’s nomination for the Vice President.
The Guardian said probably The New York Post’s owner Rupert Murdock stood for the newspaper’s decision.
