9/11 events accelerated the political processes in the world and led the United States to overthrow Taliban regime in Afghanistan and Saddam Husseinâ€™s dictatorship in Iraq. Victims of the terrorist attacks will be remembered at all churches in New York at 17.48 by Baku time. The city will observe the anniversary with church bells and prayer ceremonies. The presidential nominees, Republican Senator John McCain and his rival, Democratic senator Barack Obama, plan to attend ceremonies at Ground Zero, site of the destroyed towers hand in hand. Names of the dead will be read yet again. Thousands of US citizens and more than 800 foreigners from 86 countries were killed as a result of terrorist attack against the World Trade Centerâ€™s twin towers. For the first time, names of dead foreigners will be read by the students from their countries.
