Democrats appealing to Nancy Pelosi have special power in the Party and Congress. Alcee Hastings, chairman of the House Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe, and John Tanner, Chief of the Voting Rights Section, Robert Wexler, chairman of the House NATO Parliamentary Assembly, and Stephan Cohen, chairman of Subcommittee on European Affairs signed the appeal. The above-said people will hold large press conference for clarifying their positions in the Congress today. 17 congressmen have already refused officially to support bill on the so-called Armenian genocide. 216 congressmen are eager to support bill in the Lower Chamber of the Congress and their votes are not enough for adopting bill. /APA/
