Baku – APA. New head coach has been appointed to Azerbaijan’s national women field hockey team, spokesman for Azerbaijan Field Hockey Federation Yagub Nuriyev told apasport.az website. Korean Joa Hang will coach the national team.
Official contract has not been signed yet. Despite this, Hang began coaching the national team yesterday. The federation leadership is expected to sign a long-term contract with the Korean coach.
Hang will succeed Pakistani Tahir Zaman, who will control the development of field hockey in the regions.
The federation officials’ talks with Argentine Serjio Vijli and Spanish Jose Barasa produced no results.
