"I am glad that Azerbaijan is the host of COP29 this year, Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of Germany Annalena Baerbock said at a briefing with Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan, COP29 President Mukhtar Babayev held in Berlin as part of the 15th Petersberg Climate Dialogue, APA reports.
According to the Minister, Azerbaijan has taken on a great responsibility about climate protection
Baerbock noted that within the framework of this event, Azerbaijan can rely on Germany's support.
"I would like to be sure that this path - the climate bridge from Berlin to Baku will also serve the peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia, will be a bridge for peace," the Minister emphasized.
