23-year-old Azerbaijani sportsman killed in Russia

Apasport.az website reports that 23-year-old Azerbaijani sportsman was shot in head near Krasnoyarsk. It happened in the city of Achinsk.Zakirâ€™s trainer Azad Orazmuradov describes it as follows: His acquaintances from Abakan were waiting for him in the yard. Maybe they had a quarrel and as a result of it Zakir was killed. The worst is that the criminals have not been arrested yet. They have already left Siberia, and even Russia. Prosecutorâ€™s Office says though there are suspects, no one has been arrested yet.â€

Giving information about the murder president of Novosibirsk Pankration Federation, three-fold champion Anatoli Merenkov said:
â€œZakir was sitting next to the driver in the car. A man in the car behind shot him in his head and right temple. After that Zakirâ€™s body was left on the roadside,â€ he said.

Zakirâ€™s body was found late. His wife, who had phoned hospitals and morgues, identified Zakir Lalashov later. His parents are still unaware of his murder. They will be told about it this evening. Zakirâ€™s body will be brought to Azerbaijan tomorrow.
