Azerbaijani Parliament’s Committee on Legal Policy and State Building on Friday discussed the amendments proposed by the country’s president to the Law “On Road Traffic,” APA reports.
President Ilham Aliyev earlier proposed a draft law containing amendments to the Law “On Road Traffic”. According to the amendments proposed to paragraph 3 of Article 33, along with "A", "B" and "C" categories, "B1" and "C1" subcategories shall be defined. The right to drive vehicles belonging to this subcategory is valid from the age of 18.
The draft law will be tabled in the parliament’s upcoming plenary session.
