The State Examination Center (SEC) of Azerbaijan will hold entrance exams on the 2nd and 3rd specialty groups for 2018-2019 academic year on May 13, the SEC told APA.
The exams will be held in 66 buildings in 11 cities – Baku, Nakhchivan, Ganja, Sumgayit, Mingachevir, Sheki, Barda, Goychay, Shirvan, Lankaran and Khachmaz. The exams will be monitored by 248 supervisors and 2,856 teachers from secondary general education institutions.
A total of 36,559 applicants are expected to take part at the exam. 17,253 of them will take exams for the 2nd, 19,306 - for the 3rd specialty group.
196 of applicants are citizens of foreign countries. The oldest applicant was born in 1960, and the youngest one in 2003.
Applicants print the “admission list for the exam” from the SEC’s website since May 7. Along with the admission list, applicants are also provided with a “checklist”. Here the entrants are given important recommendations related to the examination process, the rules they must follow and other necessary information.
The exam will begin at 11:00 and will last 3 hours.
The results of the exams will be published on the SEC’s website 3-4 days after the exam.
