Azerbaijan is a good neighbor of Iran, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif told reporters in Baku on Friday, APA reports.
"Iran has very good relations with Azerbaijan. Today we had useful discussions with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev,” said Zarif.
According to him, during the meeting with President Ilham Aliyev, the sides discussed issues of cooperation in the field of energy, the Caspian Sea, as well as cooperation in the Russia-Azerbaijan-Iran and Turkey-Azerbaijan-Iran transits.
"Azerbaijan is a good neighbor of Iran, and we will continue to seriously maintain these ties," added Iran’s top diplomat.
