Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov is due to leave for Minsk at the invitation of the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Belarus, Lieutenant General Andrei Ravkov on October 8.
Within the framework of the official visit, the minister will hold a meeting Belarus's military-political leadership and heads of state structures. Moreover, Hasanov will visit the country's defense industry enterprises.
During the meetings, prospects for development and expansion of bilateral cooperation in the military, military-technical spheres and in the field of military education, as well as security issues and other issues of mutual interest will be discussed.
