An exhibition “Modernism and Fashion” of clothes and ornaments of the 1960s will open at the Heydar Aliyev Center on October 5, the center told APA.
The exhibition will be presented by the Alexandre Vassiliev Foundation with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Center.
The exhibition will feature Alexandre Vassiliev Foundation's unique collection of 100 clothes and 350 accessories belonging to the 1960s.
Besides, rare "Haute Couture" dresses made in workshops of famous designers of the same period – Chanel, Dior, Balmain, Yves Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, Nina Ricci, Cardin, Couregge, Laroche, Cassini, and Valentino will be displayed.
The exhibition will continue until April 8, 2018.
