Team Azerbaijan has added fourth gold to the country`s medal haul at the Baku 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games as judo fighter Nijat Shikhalizade climbed on the winner`s rostrum in the men`s 66kg weight category, APA reports quoting Apasport.
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, President of the National Olympic Committee Ilham Aliyev presented the medals to the judo fighters.
The head of state congratulated Nijat Shikhalizade.
The national anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played and the flag was raised in honor of the champion.
