Baku. Malahat Najafova – APA. The heavy casualties sustained in the latest escalation in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone signals that the status quo will not last long, Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said in his speech at the PACE plenary session.
He noted that ceasefire violations’ growing to impact the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic is a reason for alarm.
“The international community, especially the Minsk Group co-chairs, must warn Armenia against armed provocations and ceasefire violations. As an OSCE Minsk Group member, Turkey supports the efforts for peaceful settlement of the conflict. We will continue to support Azerbaijan for its occupied territories to be liberated soon,” said Davutoglu.
