Baku. Etibar Mammadov – APA. A book titled “First-hand information about Sumgait events” was presented in Baku.
Author Seadet Gadirova said that the book published in Russian covers Sumgait events that took place in February 1988 as an interview with former investigator for especially important cases at the Prosecutor General of former USSR Vladimir Ivanovich Kalinichenko.
“Kalinichenko witnessed and personally researched the Sumgait events. Thus, he gave detailed information about the organization and occurrence of these events,” she said.
