Zakir Hasanov said that the meetings of heads of both states play an important role in the development of the relations between Azerbaijan and Afghanistan and the bilateral relations in the military field are being continued.
Touching upon the military-political situation in the region, the defense minister stressed that today Armenia continues its aggressive policy and as a result, the peace process is delayed and the extension of negotiations has a negative impact on the situation in the region.
Ambassador Mr. Khalili emphasized that Azerbaijan and Afghanistan always support each other in international organizations and expressed his gratitude to Azerbaijani military for their contribution to the peacekeeping mission in Afghanistan.
