MD: Quarantine was declared in Armenian military units over diseases

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov – APA. Quarantine was declared in the military units located in the occupied territories over diseases.

Defence Ministry’s press service told APA that Moderate and severe pneumonia has been spread among young soldiers as epidemic as the barracks and posts of Armenian Armed Forces dislocated in our occupied territories are not supplied with heating systems.

According to information, the local command has declared quarantine in the military units over increase of diseases, this was reflected in the report sent to the head of the Defense Ministry's Military-Medical Department, Kamavor Khachatryan.

According to the document, during the inspections of military units, 75% of personnel consisting of 800 persons have caught chill and been infected with flu. It’s offered to use the schools as a small hospital due to density in Khojavend military hospital. It is also noted in the report that there are not qualified doctors and necessary medicines for treatment, and therefore, parents buy medicine for soldiers.
