Azerbaijan fulfills H1 income forecast of state budget by 101.6%, expenditure – by 94.7%

Baku. Musa Ahmadov - APA-Economics. Income of the state budget during 6 months of 2014 made AZN 9,338.8 mln, expenditures – AZN 8,723.8 mln, budget surplus – AZN 615.0 mln.

Ministry told APA-Economics that state budget incomes made AZN 9,338.8 mln against AZN 9,192.6 mln (up 1.6%).

Ministry of Taxes fulfilled incomes forecast by 103.6% transferring AZN 3,578.6 mln to the state budget, up AZN 123.7 mln from forecast, AZN 262.1 mln or 7.9% copmated to a year earlier.

State Customs Committee fulfilled forecast by 100.2% transferring AZN 732.8 mln to the state budget, up 14.5% or AZN 92.9 mln compared to a year earlier.

Receipts from state-financed organizations’ paid service made AZN 96.9 mln. From other incomes, AZN 46.7 mln (up 2.5 times from forecast) has been transferred to the state budget against AZN 18.5 mln-forecast.

State Oil Fund transferred AZN 4,883.8 mln to the state budget.

Incomes of state budget in April-June were fulfilled by AZN 4,856.3 mln. Expenditures were fulfilled 94.7% or made AZN 8,723.8 mln.

30.3% or AZN 2,644.9 mln of state budget expenditures went to social expenditures (payment fund of labor, pension or social benefits, medicine and foods), up 14.5% or AZN 334.3 mln from a year earlier. 24.5% or AZN 154.2 mln went to defense spending, 23.1% or ANZ 28.7 mln to housing and utility’s costs, 19.5% or AZN 22.4 mln to culture, art, information, physical education and spheres not belonging to other categories, 7.6% or AZN 44.5 mln to education expenditures, 7.6% or AZN 19.6 mln to health expenditures, 7.3% or AZN 31.5 mln to maintenance of judicial power, aw-enforcement and prosecutor’s agencies, 6.8% or AZN 227.2 mln to industry, constructin and mineral resources, 6.3% or AZN 2.2 mln to transport and communication expenditures.

AZN 1,057.2 mln went to construction and reconstruction of education, scientific, health, social, cultural, sport and other social objects, AZN 2,315.8 mln to construction and reconstruction of energy, water and gas supply, transport, utility, melioration infrastructures and other spheres.

AZN 37.1 mln went to financing of investments projects in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

Expenditures were fulfilled by AZN 4,349.5 mln in April-June.

Incomes of the consolidated budget were fulfilled by AZN 11,537.4 mln, up AZN 280.8 mln or 2.5% from previous year, expenditures rose AZN 94.9 mln or 1.0% to AZN 9,913.1 mln.
