In January-February 2024, banks in Azerbaijan received AZN 317.9 mln. through instant remittance systems, APA-Economics reports citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
The volume of remittances from banks in Azerbaijan abroad amounted to AZN 87.4 million.
Compared to the January-February months of the last year, the amount of funds received by banks through instant remittance systems decreased by 31.2% or AZN 144.5 mln. and the transfers from banks abroad decreased by 29.6% or AZN 36.7 million.
Note that in the first two months of last year, Azerbaijani banks received AZN 462.4 mln via instant remittance systems. The amount of funds sent abroad from banks amounted to AZN 124.2.
