Baku. Victoria Dementieva – APA. Unfortunately, the current situation of Georgia-Azerbaijan relations upsets some forces. That’s why they exaggerate the issue of Keshikchi Mountain”, head of the public policy department of the Presidential Administration Ali Hasanov said at the briefing held jointly with the spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry Elman Abdullayev, APA reports. Hasanov said that the territory, where the temple is situated, belongs to Azerbaijan. According to him, there are forces in Georgia and Azerbaijan that want to damage relations between the two countries.

Elman Abdullayev said that this issue was exaggerated by Georgian press: “The issue of Keshikchi Mountain must be settled by intergovernmental commission. Azerbaijan and Georgia have no argument on this issue. The above-mentioned issue is discussed by the foreign ministers of both countries. The issue of Keshikchi Mountain temple must be solved on legal and normative basis”.
