Baku. Kamala Guliyeva – APA. Poet, publicist Gulu Aghses signed his book “Nabran novella” at “Bayati” bookshop of Azerbaijan Writers’ Union, APA reports. Secretary of Azerbaijan Writers’ Union Rashad Majid addressing the event said it became a tradition to sign books. The main aim is to strengthen the relations of young writers with readers and encourage the youth to read books.
“Books of our poets and writers are sold on days of signature, relations are established with readers. I believe that this audience will extend in future,” he said.
Head of poetry department of the union Chingiz Alioglu said Gulu Aghses had extraordinary way of thinking.
“One can read in media the examples of poetry written in a conservative way, in accordance with all norms of the literary language. These are not the examples of modern Azerbaijani poetry. Modernism is felt in the creative activity of Gulu Aghses,” he said.
