Azerbaijan's tourism opportunities are promoted at the 30th International Travel & Hospitality Show (MITT) exhibition held in Moscow, Russia on March 19-21, organized by the State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijan Tourism Board, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.
At the exhibition considered one of the main tourism events of Russia and the CIS region, Azerbaijan is represented by Azerbaijan Airlines JSC, Shahdag Mountain Resort, along with 13 local industry representatives.
The bilateral cooperation ties are discussed at the B2B meetings between tourism industry representatives.
Note that in January-February 2024, 91,397 visitors came from Russia, which means a 21% increase compared to the same period last year. The number of visitors coming from Russia in 2023 rose by 39.9% and reached 625,106 in comparison with 2022.
