The remains of the martyr Shohrat Nuriyev, who went missing during the First Garabagh War and whose identity and location of burial were determined 30 years later, were laid to rest in the village of Alikend in Ujar region, APA's local bureau reports.

The martyr's parents, representatives of the local Executive Power, law enforcement agencies, and members of the public attended the funeral ceremony.

Note that martyr Shohrat Nuriyev was born in 1969 in Alikend village of Ujar district.

He participated in the First Garabagh War and went missing in the direction of Murov Mountain in April 1993.

It was discovered that Shohrat Nuriyev was buried as an unknown martyr in the Alley of Martyrs in Ganja and his identity was determined.
