In January-May 2024, Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover amounted to 18 billion 439.27 million dollars, which is 19.6% lower than the same period in 2023, APA-Economics reports citing the State Customs Committee.
In the last year, exports in Azerbaijan decreased by 31% and amounted to USD 11 bln 138.58 mln. at the same time, imports increased by 6.7 % to USD 7 bln 300.69 mln.
Though 3 bln. 837.89 mln USD positive balance was formed in the foreign trade turnover, this is 2,4 times less in comparison with the same period of the previous year.
