The "Russian House" in Baku is taking steps to cease its operations, the "Russian House"issued a statement regarding this matter, APA reports.
The statement says that, in connection with the demand of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the representation of "Rossotrudnichestvo" – the "Russian House" in Baku – is taking steps to cease its operations.
Note that today, the part of the center's name written in Russian was removed from the building where the "Russian House" in Baku is located.
As a reminder, Azerbaijan has sent a note to Russia regarding the termination of the "Russian House's" activities. After informing the Russian side that the Russian Information and Cultural Center – the "Russian House," which operates as the representation of "Rossotrudnichestvo" in Azerbaijan, has no legal registration as an entity and has seriously violated Azerbaijani legislation, a note was sent to Russia on February 3, 2025, regarding the termination of the "Russian House’s" activities.
