Signs on "Russian House" building in Baku being removed -VIDEO

The signs on the building of the "Russian House" in Baku are being removed, APA reports.

The part of the center’s name written in Russian has been taken down from the "Russian House" building.

Note that Azerbaijan has sent a note to Russia regarding the termination of the "Russian House’s" activities. The Russian Information and Cultural Center—known as the "Russian House"—which operated as a representative office of "Rossotrudnichestvo" in Azerbaijan, was found to lack legal entity registration and to have seriously violated Azerbaijani legislation. After informing the Russian side of this matter, a diplomatic note was sent to Russia on February 3, 2025, regarding the termination of the "Russian House’s" activities.

Note that a statement published on the center’s social media platforms noted that in recent days, fake documents and false information have been circulating online, illegally using the symbols of the "Russian House": "Such documents include the names of individuals who are said to have taught Russian language courses at the "Russian House" in Baku, including Azerbaijani government officials. These "documents" do not reflect reality."

The "Russian House" emphasized that any information disseminated outside its official platforms is false.
