"Forgery of documents leads to criminal liability"

“We ask you to ignore this false information,” the statement said.

The Russian House also demanded an immediate halt to the distribution of false documents and the use of its logos: "Unauthorized use of symbols, document forgery, and the spread of false information are subject to legal and even criminal liability."

How to Identify Fake News

What was the fake information about?

A YouTube channel based abroad, and operating on the orders of special services recently circulated a forged document under the name of the "Russian House." The "information" was related to Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan. In its latest statement, the "Russian House" acknowledged awareness of this and denied the claim.

Why is Germany allowing these channels to operate?

YouTube channels that spread such false documents have been shut down in Germany. Reports suggest that German law enforcement agencies have even launched criminal cases against those distributing fake information. According to YouTube’s policies, false information is blocked and removed. Which is why YouTube has deleted such content. However, the German government supports those who conduct information sabotage against the Azerbaijani people and the state. It protects them and creates conditions for the circulation of false information.
