The State Border Service (SBS) of Azerbaijan prevented the smuggling of drugs into the territory of the country, SBS told APA.
According to the information, on June 13th, at 04:22, as a result of the border search and operational measures conducted by the Border Troops of the State Border Service in the service territory of the "Goytepe" border detachment, smuggling of 28 kilograms and 288 grams of marijuana from the Islamic Republic of Iran into the Republic of Azerbaijan through illegal means has been prevented.
Operational-investigative measures are being continued.
