On March 6, at 19:50, it was observed that an unknown person violated the state border from the Islamic Republic of Iran in the direction of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the service territory of the "Goytapa" border detachment, the Press Service Center of the State Border Service told APA.
During the investigation, it was determined that the detained person is Aghamahammad Tohid Mirmahabbtali, a citizen of the Islamic Republic of Iran, born in 1983, and during the examination of the package, a total weight of 6 kilograms 275 grams of narcotics (4 kg 995 grams of methamphetamine, 1 kg 280 grams of marijuana) was found and taken away.
Operational-investigative measures are ongoing into the fact.
