Remains of two more people were discovered in the mass grave in Khojaly

Currently, there are remains of two more people from the place where the bones of Khojaly Genocide victims were discovered, director of the Forensic-Medical Expertise and Pathological Anatomy Unit of the Ministry of Health, Adalat Hasanov told journalists, APA reports.

According to him, excavation works are currently being continued in the area. The bones of both persons found will be packed and sent to the Forensic and pathological anatomy association in Baku: "The excavation work has started today. Bone remains of one person have been found so far. On the other side of the wall of the excavation, the tips of bone remains are visible. There, too, there are at least probably the remains of the second person. Currently, the work will be continued. There are bone remains of several people here. Forensic medical experts are here, working. Age, sex, height, cause of death, what kind of injuries are there on the bones, if any, what tools were used, these will be clarified. In the end, samples will be taken from the bones and their identity will be determined in genetic laboratories."
