Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs Radoslaw Sikorski participated in the meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Brussels, APA reports citing Polish media.

The Polish minister said that the alliance must unite in confronting Russian aggression against Ukraine. — Vladimir Putin must understand that if necessary, NATO can withstand a protracted conflict, Sikorsky said, commenting on the idea of ​​creating a special five-year aid fund for Ukraine in the amount of 100 billion euros.

The Polish minister announced NATO's mission, but said it was mainly related to training activities, not entering into the war in Ukraine. The mission aims to improve the training of Ukrainian soldiers, including in Poland.

– It will be important for Putin to understand that we are planning – if necessary – for a few years. He cannot win it in a few months, or even in a year or two. The head of Polish diplomacy stressed at the meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Brussels that we, as NATO, are 20 times richer than NATO, and if necessary, we can withstand a long-term conflict.
