"We can assess the situation and needs of the Armenian population living in the Karabakh economic zone," chairman of the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society (ARCS), deputy Novruz Aslan said, APA's Karabakh correspondent reports.

"If we are granted access to the territory, this assessment can be carried out by the experts of the Azerbaijani Golden Crescent Society. I can do this assessment myself. we can involve our partners and foreign experts in this work. I don't see any problem here," said Novruz Aslan.

According to him, the main issue is establishing communication and dialogue: "The main thing is to apply this goodwill. The position of two or three people has nothing to do with the Armenian population of Khankendi. I believe that the majority of the population there is already tired of these processes and they should show the principles of humanism to the whole world. If the Red Crescent Society came with good intentions, they should approach it with restraint, respect and patience. We do not intend to help anyone by force. This is a step that everyone should welcome regardless of their language, religion, race, or political affiliation.

Such opinions are voiced that if we have not received an appeal, why are we sending aid? Why should we wait for an application? We know that there may be a need, so we are taking this step."
