Russia's city of Volgograd came under a missile attack on the night of July 27, Unian reports.
Local residents said they heard powerful explosions in the city and that a fire broke out following the strikes.
According to OSINT analysts, the target of the attack was the Titan-Barrikady plant, one of the key enterprises of Russia's military-industrial complex. It is reported that the facility produces the Iskander-M, Topol-M, and Yars missile systems.
Videos allegedly showing the missile in flight during the attack have been circulated on social media. According to ASTRA, the strikes were likely carried out using Ukraine's long-range Flamingo cruise missiles. However, this information has not been confirmed by official sources.
Volgograd Region Governor Andrey Bocharov confirmed that Ukrainian missiles attacked Volgograd overnight. According to him, production facilities at one of the industrial enterprises in the city's Krasnooktyabrsky district were damaged.
"According to preliminary information, 10 people were injured in the incident," the governor said.
It should be noted that the Titan-Barrikady plant is located in Volgograd's Krasnooktyabrsky district.
