The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Israel Israel Katz said that the incident which World Central Kitchen aid organization workers were killed in Gaza will be investigated by qualified authorities, the Minister posted on his X account about this, APA reports.

"I send my condolences to the countries and families of the World Central Kitchen aid organization workers who were killed in Gaza.

The IDF and decision-makers are doing and will do everything to prevent harm to civilians.

The incident will be investigated by qualified authorities to ensure that necessary conclusions are drawn to guarantee the safety and security of aid workers going forward," - he noted.

Note that the head of the IDF Spokesperson's Unit Daniel Hagari said in a video message that he contacted the founder of World Central Kitchen and expanded his condolences.

He said that the highest level of investigation has been initiated to investigate how and under what circumstances the incident took place: "We will launch an investigation to further investigate this serious incident and this will enable us to prevent similar incidents in the future. This will be done on the basis of a fact-finding and evaluation mechanism. This investigation will be conducted by independent, professional experts," - Hagari noted.

It should be noted that World Central Kitchen reported the killing of 7 its employees in Gaza. It was reported that they were Australian, Polish, British, Palestinian and dual US-Canadian citizens.
