Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian inaugurated a new consular section of the country’s embassy in Damascus on Monday, APA reports.
During his visit to Damascus, Amirabdollahian opened a building that will serve as the new consular section of the Iranian embassy.
In the inauguration of the new consular section of the country’s embassy in Damascus, in addition to Amirabdollahian, his Syrian counterpart Faisal Mekdad also participated.
Note that a week earlier, the building was demolished in an Israeli airstrike.
