Head of the Government of Georgia’s Adjara Autonomous Republic Zurab Pataradze has resigned.
According to APA's local bureau, Pataradze announced the aforesaid at a briefing on Wednesday.
Pataradze said the decision has been accepted by the ruling team, noting that he will remain in the ruling Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia (GDDG) political party.
The Cabinet of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara has also been dismissed as a result of this resignation.
Pataradze has been Chairman of the Government since July 2016. Earlier, he served as Georgia's ambassador to Kazakhstan.
