Azerbaijan’s Minister of Culture Abulfas Garayev has signed an order to appoint Fikrat Babayev as head of the Staff of the Ministry of Culture, the ministry told APA.
In addition, Vugar Shikhammadov has been appointed as head of the newly created Department of Folk Art and Development of Cultural Institutions.
Intigam Humbatov has been appointed as head of the Ministry's Information and Public Relations Department.
Aslan Jafarov has been appointed as head of the Ministry’s Department for Book Circulation and Work with Publishing Houses.
It should be noted that implementing culture policy in Azerbaijan more effectively and efficiently, innovation in managing relevant fields, modern technologies, as well as learning and implementing scientific achievements, advanced experience have been taken as main criteria when forming the new structure of the Ministry of Culture.
