Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov on Monday departed to Malta and the Republic of Italy for an official visit.
During the visit Mammadyarov will meet with his counterparts from Malta and Italy and will also have meetings with other officials, the Foreign Ministry told APA.
In the framework of visit to Italy, Minister Mammadyarov will take part at the opening of a photo exhibition dedicated to the 25th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Italy and will deliver a speech at the Italian Society for International Organizations on “Azerbaijan’s foreign policy and relations with Italy”.

Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov will pay a three-day visit to Malta on April 17, APA reported citing MaltaToday.
During the visit, Mammadyarov will be accompanied by SOCAR’s vice-president Elshad Nasirov, Azerbaijan’s ambassador to Italy Mammad Ahmadzade and other two diplomats.
Mammadyarov is scheduled to have meetings with Maltese Prime minister Joseph Muscat, Foreign Minister George Vella, Speaker of the House of Representatives Anglu Farrugia and President Marie Louise Coleiro Preca.
