Azerbaijan, Ukraine to sign several documents soon

A number of documents on cooperation will be signed between Ukraine and Azerbaijan in the coming months, Head of Kyiv City State Administration Vitali Klitschko told reporters in Baku April 13, APA reported.

Klitschko expressed his satisfaction with today’s meeting with Azerbaijan’s president, noting that the cooperation between the two countries should become even closer.

Recalling the 2015 Eurovision song contest held in Baku at a high level, Klitschko said he is going to study Azerbaijan’s experience for the upcoming song contest to be held succesfully in Kyiv.

“I spoke to the chief architect of Baku. Kyiv’s chief architect should come here and learn a lot. This is an important part of sharing experiences,” he said.

Klitschko added that he also discussed with Azerbaijan’s president the spheres of business development such as opening of Ukrainian shops in Baku, development of petrol stations of SOCAR which is leader in Ukraine’s energy market.

Klitschko also invited Head of the Baku City Executive Authority Hajibala Abutalibov to Kyiv to watch the Eurovision song contest.
