According to the order, the Baku City Main Department of Culture and Tourism was created on the basis of the Baku City Department of Culture and Tourism of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
Moreover, regional departments of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism created.
- Sumgayit Regional Department of Culture and Tourism was created on the basis of Sumgayit, Absheron, Khizi, Zangilan, Gubadli and Shusha district culture and tourism departments and offices;
- Khachmaz Regional Department of Culture and Tourism was created on the basis of Khachmaz, Guba, Gusar, Shabran and Siyazan district culture and tourism offices;
- Ismayilli Regional Department of Culture and Tourism was created on the basis of Ismayilli, Aghsu, Shamakhi, Gobustan and Gabala district culture and tourism offices;
- Shaki Regional Department of Culture and Tourism was created on the basis of Shaki, Oghuz, Gakh, Zagatala and Balakan district culture and tourism offices;
- Kurdamir Regional Department of Culture and Tourism was created on the basis of Kurdamir, Imishli, Fuzuli, Beylegan and Khojavend district culture and tourism offices;
- Aghstafa Regional Department of Culture and Tourism was created on the basis of Aghstafa, Gazakh and Tovuz district culture and tourism offices;
- Shamkir Regional Department of Culture and Tourism was created on the basis of Shamkir, Goygol, Gadabay and Dashkasan district culture and tourism offices;
- Ganja Regional Culture and Tourism Department was created on the basis of Ganja, Naftalan, Samukh, Goranboy, Kalbajar and Khojaly district culture and tourism departments and offices;
- Barda Regional Department of Culture and Tourism was created on the basis of Yevlakh, Minghachevir, Barda and Terter district culture and tourism offices;
- Aghjabedi Regional Department of Culture and Tourism was created on the basis of Aghjabedi, Aghdam and Lachin district culture and tourism offices;
- Aghdash Regional Department of Culture and Tourism was created on the basis of Aghdash, Ujar, Zardab and Goychay district culture and tourism offices;
- Sabirabad Regional Department of Culture and Tourism was created on the basis of Shirvan, Sabirabad, Saatli and Hajigabul district culture and tourism offices;
- Bilasuvar Regional Department of Culture and Tourism was created on the basis of Bilasuvar, Salyan, Neftchala and Jabrayil district culture and tourism offices;
- Masalli Regional Department of Culture and Tourism was created on the basis of Masalli, Yardimli and Jalilabad district culture and tourism offices;
- Lankaran Regional Department of Culture and Tourism was created on the basis of Lankaran, Astara and Lerik district culture and tourism offices;
The Cabinet of Ministers and the Ministry of Justice have been instructed to solve issues arising from the order.
The Ministry of Finance has been instructed to provide the switch of the sphere of culture to a central funding from 1 January 2017.
