Baku. Agha Jafarli – APA. Having recently suffered failures and heavy casualties on the front line, Armenian armed forces have violated the ceasefire regime, this time using 60 and 82-mm mortar launchers and large-caliber machine guns in order to aggravate the situation on the contact line of troops.
The Azerbaijani side retaliated against the enemy by pounding Armenian military targets in the trenches and outposts with larger-caliber weapons, the Defense Ministry told APA.
The ministry also warned that if the enemy’s provocations continue further, retaliatory acts will be even sterner and large-scale, and its losses will become a new tragedy for the Armenian people.
The statement also says there are no casualties on the Azerbaijani side: “The operational conditions along the entire front line is under the complete control of the Azerbaijani armed units”.
